After a very long time, Bollywood has made a film that we need to be proud of! The concept is sensitive and unusual, but the way this team has handled it is outstanding.
Mimi is a beautiful movie that portrays the struggles of a mother and explains what motherhood is. It shows the issues of surrogacy and its complexities in India and raises public awareness. The comedy, the friendship, the grief, the pain, each emotion is captured beautifully and blends perfectly in the scenes. Pankaj Tripathi, Sai Tamhankar, Supriya Pathak, and other characters have done their roles with perfection. A. R. Rahman’s music has made the story more emotional.
Kriti Sanon’s acting depicts three characters in the film. A young ambitious girl, a surrogate, and a mother and has outdone all three roles. The storyline is so good that it captures all the phases of a young girl, her surrogacy with sacrifices, and the love of a mother for her child.
