The Wilds on Amazon Prime Video is an adventure-drama show that immediately draws us into the lives of eight girls, the chief protagonists of this series. These girls come from diverse groups. The roles are played by an excellent ensemble cast. All the girls come from different social backgrounds and are facing their own demons.

The Wilds is a phenomenal show as it delves deep into all these different characters. You can relate with every girl in this series, and it lets you feel how they have coped and learned from their experiences.

The Wilds Season 1: What’s Good About It?

From the very start, you get this niggling suspicion that things are not what they seem, and this show does not disappoint. Even when you think for sure you have the next move called, they throw you a curveball you never saw coming.

The Wilds TV Series has a diverse cast with fantastic leading women characters. All the episodes are well written, and they have even dealt with LGBT issues confidently. The show has covered almost all the points a teenager goes through in their life. It focuses on problems such as high expectations from people around, heartbreaks, and internal homophobia.

My Take On This TV Series

From my perspective, this is a well-played and thought-out series. If you start watching one episode, you also want to watch another, the best one for binge-watching.

Teenagers, especially, girls will feel connected to this show. It deals with the teenage problems of girls in a convincing manner. It is like an outlet because it has that element of what most teenage girls go through.

This show also helps you better understand yourself. If you are going through the same problems, then you can easily relate to the stories. Our lonely protagonists find an emotional connection and support each other. Right off the bat, it is hard for them to accept each other. But eventually, they embrace each other’s presence and importance.

The Wilds Season 1 ends abruptly, answering some questions and throwing up many. The obligatory cliffhanger ending ensures that we would like to spend some more time with these girls in this part-survival drama.

For sure, this show is a part-YA thriller and a wholly enjoyable show.
