Four More Shots Please S2 – No spoilers, Promise! Amazon Prime Video – 6/10
Bolder, Brighter.. Not Better!
The series takes off from where Season 1 ended.. Bolder in their language, Brighter in their clothes but not Better or wittier than before.
The four friends, Anjana – KirtiKulhari, Damini – Sayani Gupta, Umang – Bani J and Siddhi – Maanvi Gagroo don’t seem to have learnt from their past mistakes instead they are absolutely juvenile, not adorable.
Someone forgot to write the men their dialogues.. Milind Soman, Ankur Rathee, The Prateik (Babbar) perhaps hoped they would roll on their good looks. Neil Bhoopalam does get to be the smart aleck until he spews some ridiculous mention of jerking off after the divorce still thinking of wifey no 1.

Lisa Ray needs mention for being a total misfit, as the fading star, Samara, the lesbian and disturbed person.
I pity the child actor, Anjana’s daughter, whose career is squashed even before take off.
The episodes begin with beautiful Istanbul and continues with sidewalk cafes and buffets on terraces in hot Mumbai.. How!
Office politics in a big law firm is petty and misogynist.. Why!
The serial seems to be held together by feisty Umang, except when her accent drops and suddenly she goes Desi on you with no consistency which her workouts and dressing covers up.
We discover a savage side to Siddhi but who body shames herself or how does one laugh about not having used a tampon in 2020.
Damini loses more than just her job, she loses control and so much else that even her beautiful eye rolls can’t balance.
Anjana, the wise one, wanting to have a blast in her 30s moves on her past rep but leaves you calculating how she manages a job, a baby and so many drinks while having quit drinking!
It’s Sameer Kochar as Shashank Bose, The Harvard Law School graduate and Prabal Panjabi as the stand up Amit Mishra who carry a few episodes.
Siddhi’s mom, SimoneSingh comes around and it’s fun to see new bondings
While the title track remains catchy and makes you want to reach for the shot, what happened to Mickey McClearys music? It falls disappointingly short. The cinematography team has brought together Mumbai in some awesome drone photography.
Come on Mangs, Siddhi, Anj and Dee, wisen up. Rangita Nandy and Anu Menon you set the standards high girls.. the world has forged ahead!
