Our beloved cop hero Abhay Pratap Singh is back, testing his limits again trying to overcome bigger and newer challenges. He is still his own justice system in his own way to #TheRoadToJustice.
I remember watching Season 1 in early 2019, I was massively impressed by this web series with Kunal Kemmu (also spelled Kunal Khemu) in the lead role. Among the 8 episodes of Season 1, I loved episode 1, episode 2, and episode 6 the most.
In any web series pilot episode is the most important thing that sets the tone for the audience for what to come. As expected, Abhay’s first episode ticked all the right boxes. After watching it, I kind of became addicted to Abhay like I am addicted to Netflix’s Lucifer (It’s a shame that I haven’t written anything about that show). So, without dwelling much in the past, let’s talk about Abhay Season 2 and what’s awaiting us this time?
Abhay Season 2: Bigger and Better
ZEE5 has one of the most varied and exciting catalogs among all the OTT platforms available in India. Abhay without any doubt is among its most loved shows. Season 1 was an awesome edge of the seat drama, and Season 2 is just going to be bigger with the addition of seasoned actors such as Asha Negi, Ram Kapoor, Nidhi Singh, and Chunky Pandey. I loved the new Avatars of Chunky Pandey as Brain Soup Villain and Ram Kapoor as the main antagonist. They have nailed it. The Roommates star Nidhi Singh as the recruiter has also done a great job in a different role this time. While Asha Negi in the role of a journalist is a perfect fit for this exciting ensemble cast.

What’s New This Season?
Well, as you all know that I don’t believe in being a spoilsport for the series or movies that are new or currently running, so I am not going to tell everything. However, I would love to tell you that like the first season, Abhay Season 2 is also inspired by true events and features more enticing cases. The best thing this time around is the variety of villains that Abhay is going to take down. They all are dangerous and exciting to watch.
Talking about the direction, Ken Ghosh has once again done a superb job. The action scenes are great and look real. The background music may not be the best in the genre but still goes well with the premise and keeps you glued to your sofas.
So far 3 episodes have been released and 5 more are on their way to hit ZEE5. I am rating this show’s Season 2 so far 9/10.
