“The Sky Is Pink” Movie Review

The Sky Is Pink gets a 10/10.. begins with ‘The End’ and takes you back through 25 years with a middle class Indian family. It revolves around over before and after an ill child. While you are still thinking about abortion being right or not, you start figuring out post death memories. There are cute moments, cloying moments, and moments you want to just stay in. There are times you pray for the Chaudhrys then there are times you identify with their lives, compare yours to sneaking your friend into the house, feeling jealous when Niren is enjoying some attention from another woman and so many others.. then quickly you send up a small prayer for all things good in your life.

Guilty Netflix Movie Review

America in Delhi.. the Uni, Cafeteria, Dorms, Band, even a scene on the Basketball court. The foul language used, the clothes worn by the students, drug abuse shown are all in the superlative yet true and what's really happening.. Perhaps not inside our colleges but still in the lives of Indian students. The actors, director, writer and cinematographer, the whole team of 'Guilty' has totally pulled it off.

Jabariya Jodi Trailer Review: One Of Its Kind Romantic Comedy-Drama

Both Sidharth and Parinneti have not seen box-office success in their recent ventures. And, we can only wish that this streak breaks this August with the success of this movie. In the end, I would conclude by saying that there’s no harm in going to watch this entertaining romantic comedy at your nearest theaters.

The Accidental Prime Minister – Movie Review

I don't know much about the real life Sanjaya Baru but after Anupam Kher, Akshay Khanna stole the show. He was stupendous. Loved his character as well as performance. Irrespective of what you feel for the Congress government, you are bound to feel sorry for our ex-PM, who was used and exploited during his two tenures. Most of us know he was never a politician but this movie gives a closer look at his plight and your heart goes to him and his wife.  If you have any interest in Indian politics, you must watch it!

The Relevant Themes of ZEE5’s Kaafir That Will Pull Your Heartstrings

“Kaafir” is an Arabic term for infidel or nonbeliever. The web series is based on a story of a Pakistani woman, who accidentally crosses the LOC and eventually lands up in a prison on the Indian Territory, for being an infiltrator and terrorist. Kainaaz Akhtar, the protagonist spends 7 years in prison and gives birth to a daughter too. But one day, an Indian lawyer-turned journalist Vedant attempts to learn the real story behind Kainaaz’s predicament and eventually unfolds the truth. Inspired by real events, Kaafir attempts to inject hope, peace and goodwill within a system marred by hatred and prejudices. In other words, I would say that Kaafir is not a mere story of Indians and Pakistanis; rather it transcends the concept of borders and hyper-nationalism.
