The best part is Paresh Mokashi who produced this movie has spent years in theaters and this is his debut movie, so you have a man discovering cinema making a film about the first man ever to make a film in India. I hope you enjoy this one. I am rating Harishchandrachi Factory 8 out of 10 for its overall inspirational and entertaining value.
The modern Cabaret culture has its origin in post-World War - I Germany. In Bollywood contrary to the popular belief Cabaret was introduced much earlier than Helen made it her own. It was Cuckoo (an Anglo-Indian performer) in late 1940s and early 1950s ...

Aarohan is the story of the first batch of women cadets who joined Navy way back in the 1990s. It is a make-believe story with a fictional scenario, set in the days when Indian women could not join the Navy.
America in Delhi.. the Uni, Cafeteria, Dorms, Band, even a scene on the Basketball court. The foul language used, the clothes worn by the students, drug abuse shown are all in the superlative yet true and what's really happening.. Perhaps not inside our colleges but still in the lives of Indian students. The actors, director, writer and cinematographer, the whole team of 'Guilty' has totally pulled it off.

I am not disappointed by Ujda Chaman, the reason is simple: I knew it was going to be a decent one-time watch movie. And, it is a good one time watch stuff anyway. Now coming to the sensitive topic of baldness that this movie portrays. I feel that Abhishek Pathak ruined a good opportunity to make a name for himself. The film goes overboard at places where students are seeing disdainfully teasing their teacher. I have never heard or seen such an incident in my whole life! So, I suggest you take Ujda Chaman’s story with a grain of salt. It feels closer to real-life at the start but as the predictive and monotonous plot moves forward the narrative becomes unrealistic. However, one thing that remains consistent is laughter.
It would have been great on the part of the director to show better character development. The monologue at the end too feels unconvincing; you can't just change youngsters by giving a 2-minute speech. I am giving Ujda Chaman 7 out 10 for Sunny Singh and entertaining consistent comic punches.
Boman (Vardhi) is a doctor, a sexologist wanting to create an awareness that sex and related issues are not taboo. Rajkummar (Raghuvir Mehta), is a business man with no real business. Motivational speaker Paresh Rawal (Tanmay Shah) explains to him how the consumer is a fool and will buy whatever idea he sells while the other speaker Gajraj Rao (Abhay Chopra) wants in on people's profits. Mouni (Rukmini Mehta) plays the wife with two item numbers to her credit, nothing more. Manoj Joshi and Sumit Vyas seem to want to say more than they were allowed to, thankfully.
Just like how Theo says – life is full of wickedness; life does have a way of inventing grave trouble. It can at times make you crippled, spiraling your very existence completely out of control. Just like how it happens with Lucas. We always believe that ‘TRUTH’ always triumphs. Really? Always?? Lucas was lucky enough to have his innocence proved. Not everyone gets that liberty.
I think that the title – The Hunt – symbolizes Lucas as the hunted one just like the deer he hunts. It draws an analogy between the powerless Lucas and the powerless animals he hunts. The movie makes you think about various uncertainties of life which yell out loud – ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN!
The Hunt was premiered at Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) in 2012. The movie also competed at the 2012 Cannes Film Festival.
The Sky Is Pink gets a 10/10.. begins with ‘The End’ and takes you back through 25 years with a middle class Indian family. It revolves around over before and after an ill child. While you are still thinking about abortion being right or not, you start figuring out post death memories.
There are cute moments, cloying moments, and moments you want to just stay in. There are times you pray for the Chaudhrys then there are times you identify with their lives, compare yours to sneaking your friend into the house, feeling jealous when Niren is enjoying some attention from another woman and so many others.. then quickly you send up a small prayer for all things good in your life.
