Mahal (1969) – Dev Anand fools a slim Asha Parekh first as his boss then as a rich man’s nephew and yet it’s love in the end. Farida Jalal is more than cute as the villi nurse in bold outfits.

Namak Haram (1973) – Mazdoor and maalik, dost and dost ki maa, patang and shayari, maut and sad songs. All covered by the then superstar Rajesh Khanna and newbie Amitabh Bachchan. Awesome camaraderie and next level friendship this is!

Ajnabee (1974) – It was funny as on YouTube we chose a 10 part movie! In the middle of it YouTube decided to switch movies and station master Rajesh Khanna became a singer for a bit. Zeenat Aman the perfect spoilt rich girl gets passionate to ‘Bheegi Bheegi Raaton Mein’ then sways on a goods train to ‘Hum Dono Do Premi’ and even quizzes to ‘Ek Ajnabee Haseena Se, Yuun Mulaqat Ho Gayi!’
