Emily in Paris Season 2 continues from Season 1 with the entertaining incidents around seemingly flippant Emily. The show has all the seemingly insouciant and delightful regular Parisian personalities, my personal favorite Mindy – Emily’s Chinese friend, with the addition of a new romance for Emily with Alfie (Lucien Lavisconte), a banker from London in Paris.

My Take On Netflix’s Emily In Paris Season 2
Season 2 is quite an exquisite piece of the series. It falls smoothly into the category of rom-com types, toppled with the tinge of business and the role of social media functionalities.
Lily Collins, our Emily Cooper or Em, in this is trying hard to find solutions on the social front, as she works in Savior marketing firm.
The Season 2 of Emily in Paris has a continual level of fairly adult humor which is fun but not always easy to catch. Silvie is by far the best character, though mainly because she is multi-layered, not stereotypical and probably the most realistic. This show is at its best when it delves into the layers of the characters to reveal something not seen before.
Now that the entire series is shot in France, the glittering shenanigans of light, fashion, love, and a lot of sex obviously is quite resonating. 😊
In Season 2, Emily is romancing two handsome men. She is in love with Gabriel but is dating Alfie to bring back Gabriel and Camille! I really wished Gabriel and Emily were together but after this season I am not sure anymore. Mindy’s story was the best part of the series.
Well, in this season too, I have some practical questions – Why is it that Emily never declares what she really wants – get Gabriel? Where did Mathieu go and why was he out of the series so fast?
Well waiting for Season 3 to see how Emily decides her fate.
