Ryan Coogler took on a remarkable challenge when he had to alter his script after the loss of Chadwick Boseman. But what he accomplished is nothing short of a fantastic superhero movie experience. Hats off to Coogler!

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever Review

The movie’s USP is its cast. It seems the timing of every character is precise and apt to the scene. Be it Shuri, Nakia, Okoye, or Namo everyone has a special role to play. Even the well-known actors with limited screen time leave a lasting impact in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever movie.

Right off the bat, there is fun, tragedy, and an ample amount of action in the movie. The fight scenes are wonderful and live up to the reputation of Marvel Universe movies.

In terms of technical aspects, the VFX are really good. The underwater scenes are mesmerizing, almost on par with Avatar: The Way of Water! The scene where Namor gives Shuri a tour of his capital with the background score ‘Con La Brisa’ was nothing short of a magical dream for me. It reminded me of Aquaman’s (2018 DC Universe Movie) scene when Aquaman visits the Kingdom of Atlantis for the first time with Mera. That scene also had a great memorable background score.

When I bought the tickets for Wakanda Forever I didn’t know that the movie is over 150 mins long. However, after watching the movie, my friend and I were really amazed that the runtime just flew like a breeze. Nowhere I felt that the movie was being dragged. The storytelling was excellent, and the audience can connect with the characters’ emotions, even with Namor as the villain.

Wakanda Forever gives its audience a proper introduction of Namor and it makes perfect sense as he is going to play an important role in future movies of the Black Panther series.

My Rating & Verdict

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever movie is a magnificent tribute to the late Chadwick Boseman, who embodied the characteristics of a true superhero both on and off screen, including his courageous battle with cancer. The film showcases stunning visuals, dance, and some great songs as well as touching farewell sequences. With the introduction of “Iron Heart” (played by Dominique Thorne) and the emergence of “Namor” as the MCU’s second mutant after “Ms. Marvel,” the movie offers a tantalizing glimpse into the highly anticipated Phase 5 as Phase 4 nears its conclusion. Don’t miss your chance to see “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” now available on Disney+Hotstar. Highly recommended!

I am giving this movie a 10 on 10!
