Here’s New Opponent For John Wick & Punisher

First of all, kudos to David Leitch. He has shown us what a man he is! Deadpool 2 was brilliant and Hobbs & Shaw has worked as well. But here is the gold which many might have missed, Atomic Blonde (2017) movie.

This movie is a spy-thriller action, and without a doubt, it manages to do justice to its genre. The action is damn bingo! Overwhelmingly impressive and even beats John Wick. Well, at least that long take of fighting on the stairway does. And the spy part is good too because of Charlize Theron’s charm. However, the thriller part was a problem for me. But, I won’t have any objective reason, so hence I’ll leave that to you people. My problem was that it was predictable. I don’t know but it didn’t appeal to me much.

Atomic Blonde: My Take On It

The story is simple, but the best thing is the appealing characters of this movie. The story feels not that big but you’ll still get attached to the characters’ personality and charm with the good screenplay. Lorraine and Delphine’s relationship is pleasing and James McAvoy’s acting is great too.

One of the best things in this movie is its soundtrack, it is too pretty and sexy. The movie’s whole journey with its soundtrack is a big part of its success in pleasing me. Without it, Atomic Blonde would have fallen. But thank God! It didn’t.

The main problem that prevented this movie from achieving the best is its story. The movie is polished really well but despite that more effort in writing was essential to give a better shot at it. By the way, I didn’t have any problem with this, but many people do have, it’s that the movie is slow but in a really nice manner, to me at least.

Now, this one thing might sound weird but the most awesome thing about this movie is that it’s sexy and seductive. I don’t know how to further explain it but I’ll just say go watch it to realize it.

At the end of the day, Atomic Blonde has good action, cinematography, production design, soundtrack, and even color grading is damn pretty. The movie is the Big Kahuna Burger we should taste. That one long take of the action scene is memorable and I think it’s inspired by Children of Men or may be edited in one long take.

So, the movie has shown its image properly and I hope we should have a sequel (but not John Wick type) which improves everything and makes it reach the level it deserves.

Okay, now coming to the comparison with Punisher and John Wick. I personally think Lorraine Broughton can and can’t beat them. It depends highly on the situation but still, the fight between them is worth a watch.
