The touching and soul stirring moments revolve around young Dilsher whose dad sings at the gurudwara but loses his hearing which leads to a traumatic end and leaves an aversion to music and a stammer for little Dilsher. The kirtans and Ek Onkar Satnam are the only songs of the 14 song musical you will recollect.
Capernaum movie is permeated with common dilemmas, accompanied with some cultural details of the region it is set in. But without seeming stereotyped. It's a beautiful, honest, and important film on the socio-economic conditions of Lebanon by Nadine Labaki.
I am rating this movie 7/10. There are frightening moments and decent emotional scenes, but the overall experience of Velvet Buzzsaw movie is nothing more than what can be described as "just above average". I seriously believe that not telling more about the Vetril Dease’s spirit/ghost in the movie was a big mistake that pulled the film down a few notches.
What remains from every episode is the struggles of even the strong and privileged. #Marriages are anything but made in heaven! Addictions.. Bad language, Drinking, Drugs and Sex is shown across different economic strata. Passion has been shown the way it is.. Everywhere!
Amitabh Bachchan in a one location, one attire (suit-boot, tie-shie, collar bar & pin, pocket hanky in place) role, rules the movie. You don't tire of his baritone nor the dialogues. You wish to repeat them in a “shayarana andaaz” and add a 'wah-wah!' Tapsee Pannu is more than just an eye candy in her sleek not messy avtar...
The best part is Paresh Mokashi who produced this movie has spent years in theaters and this is his debut movie, so you have a man discovering cinema making a film about the first man ever to make a film in India. I hope you enjoy this one. I am rating Harishchandrachi Factory 8 out of 10 for its overall inspirational and entertaining value.
Kartik Aryan and Kriti Sanon look great and you can't find a flaw with their clothes or their morning after messed up looks. While Pankaj Tripathi gets not only into character but manages to get under your skin too. I expected to see more of Vinay Pathak though.
